PodDoor
The PodDoor system has been developed to simplify the installation of doorsets in drywall partitions, resulting in improved efficiency and finish quality - minimising the time spent on installation, whilst maximising the quality of the end result.
The system has been developed to work with Metal and Timber doorsets for permanent or temporary security applications and we are proud to have carried out the design, manufacture and installation of 5000 metal door sets for Heathrow Terminal 5 using the PodDoor technology.
PodDoor is delivered with an integral structural opening formed within the drywall frame in which it sits, thus eliminating inefficiencies associated with poor dimensional tolerances and out of sequence working. All our door-sets arrive on site as completely preassembled units, to ensure that actual installation is as simple and efficient as possible.
A comprehensive test regime has been undertaken on the PodDoor system – including fire testing, slam testing, hard and soft-body impact testing – to demonstrate compliance with British Standards across all applications.
