Podfloor is an adaptable pedestal flooring system that has been developed to be used in commercial building environments. The system utilises raised pedestals in conjunction with calcium sulphate boards to ensure a superior performance, solid feel and a dry installation approach, thereby avoiding long curing times and ensuring rapid installation.
Calcium sulphate boards are made from natural and synthetic gypsum combined with cellulose fibres made from recycled paper and cardboard to provide a robust and durable material. Each board is calibrated, machined and sealed to produce this unique solution.
Boards are based on a standard 600mm x 600mm module and are available in a range of thicknesses from 25mm up to 38mm to accommodate varying floor loads.
Podfloor is a versatile system primarily designed for use in washrooms, but its use now extends to lift lobbies and reception areas where greater load requirements exist and a range of finishes may be required. Podfloor has been comprehensively tested in dry and wet conditions to ensure compliance with European Standard EN13213.
