Swift Horsman has been involved with some of the most complex and advanced facilities within the aviation sector. Our aviation division has grown to incorporate all of our products and become one of our most successful business sectors.
The sector commenced in 2004 at Terminal 3 Heathrow with a high quality fit-out on Virgin Lounge comprising a large scale of specialist furniture, coloured glass panelling, bar units, back lit display cabinets, specialist metal works, spa area, and toilet fittings. Reputation then developed on the new Heathrow Terminal 5 whereby work packages included the supply and installation of 5000 metal doors, works to the VIP Area, Back of house furniture and then the specialist Joinery works for 5 CIP (Commercially Important People) Lounges with a similar specification to that carried out on Virgin Lounge. Moving onto Terminal 3 a further CIP Lounge has been completed along with the highly successful 39 prefabricated Toilet Pods to a quality finish. Away from Heathrow the team has completed a complete Toilet Fit-Out package on the new Stansted Airport extension utilising our Podwall product and added to this with the supply and installation of Ryanair Ticket Desks.
Current projects include: the joinery fit-out of BAA offices at Compass House, specialist high level curved timber veneered walkway in terminal 2 and the commencement of the Toilet Fit-Out and Metal Doors package at the new Heathrow Terminal 5C.
Many projects require work to be completed in live environments and our skill is in delivering major schemes with minimal visibility and disruption to the travelling public by embracing an offsite manufacturing ethos wherever possible.
