Aqua Restaurant – 6 months on

The new aqua restaurant in London http://www.aqua.com.hk/ has now been open for over 6 months and the interior fit out that Swift Horsman completed is looking as good as ever.

Swift Horsman’s specialist joinery company Artezan were contracted to design, supply and install specialist joinery in both restaurants and the central corridor that links the two restaurants. 

For aqua kyoto the specialist joinery included the main sushi bar and a circular holding bar area, where hanex worktops, laminate panelling, screens with bronze mirrors, screen printed bronze paint panels, bronze mesh panels behind glass and various arrangements of banquet seating were among the materials used and works completed. 

For aqua nueva, Artezan designed and installed two bars with oak and bronze rear wood block feature panels; front glazed, display cases with hanging feature beads as well as a 20m feature wall with timber beads hanging from a splayed mansard ceiling, with banquet seating and toilet areas with similar features. 

The link corridor is lined with glazed display cases with various shades of grey vamceva interlayer mirrors and low level light boxes with screen printed metal mesh hanging panels. 

With the clients’ exceptional design and vision and Artezan’s demand for quality and high standard of workmanship, this is a truly outstanding project.
