Artezan secure works at Worth Abbey

Worth Abbey is home to 25 monks and is set within beautiful and tranquil grounds. The Abbey Church can seat up to 1,400 people, the largest capacity of any church in Sussex. The foundation stone was laid in 1964, the Church was consecrated in 1974 and the exterior structure completed in 2001. In 2010 refurbishment works commenced and include new windows, lighting, sound system, choir stalls and congregational seating etc. This project is an extremely specialist furniture package.
Artezan Ltd will be managing the project and as always quality and attention to detail will be of paramount importance.
Works within the package include Specialist joinery / furniture fit out including supply & installation of Pew Benches, Kneelers, Choir Stalls, Misericord Seats, Choir Benches, Reconciliation Rooms, Credence Tables, Server Seats, Lectern, and Balcony Panels. The main material to be used throughout this project is Solid American Walnut.
Design development commenced in July 2010 & furniture manufacture will run up until the end of November - when our 4 week on-site installation period commences. The contract works are due to be completed by 17th December 2010 – in time for Christmas.
