Artezan start work at La Maison du Chocolat

In 1977 Robert Linxe established the first La Maison du Chocolat.  For over 30 years he has continued to devote himself, and to share with others, his love of creativity and his quest for perfection.

In 2004 La Maison du Chocolat arrived in London.  Starting with a concessions stand in Harrods and then a boutique in Piccadilly, it is this store in Piccadilly that Artezan are acting as the principle contractor working directly for the client; the architects are Fletcher & Priest.

Our works consist of splitting the existing unit into two equal units with a full refurbishment to one side. Our scope is then to install new mechanical and electrical services to serve the unit; new plasterboard suspended ceiling system, tiled flooring throughout, new joinery units and the refurbishment of the existing units. There is also a new shop front including all external signage and internal/external blinds.

The new joinery units consist of lacquered European Oak veneer with butter cream corian worktops.

Chelsea Artisan back painted glass is to be used to the window reveals.

We started on site on Monday 13th September with PC due four weeks later on the 8th October, so the boutique is ready in time for chocolate week!!
