Weston and Bluebell Primary School

This is the first stage of a much larger project, currently Weston Primary School and Bluebell Nursery are two separate buildings, and the plan is to merge the two next year with major building works and re-construction involved in physically joining the two units together.

The initial project involves the refurbishment of a number of classrooms and toilet areas.

We will be supplying new cubicles, vanity units, sanitary ware, flooring, doors, frames, ironmongery, and timber fire screens & providing decoration works to new and refurbished areas. We are also doing the M & E works which involves re routing of existing services to suit new layouts and supplying new lighting, heating, ventilation & alarm works where necessary.

There are also extensive works to external areas involving installing new manholes, drainage runs and areas of car park to include all new tarmac areas as well as resurfacing of some existing areas of playgrounds.

Timescale presents our major challenge as all of the works need to be completed in the 5 week period when the school is closed; another problem is the size of the areas that we have to work in internally, lots of people trying to work in some very tight spaces at the same time.
