Olympic Media Centre

The media press centres for the London 2012 Olympic Games has been split into 2 buildings IBC – (International Broadcasting Centre) & MPC (Media Press Centre). The IBC is a steel frame temporary building and the MPC is a concrete permanent building.

The IBC/MPC will support 20,000 broadcasters, photographers and journalists communicating the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games to an audience of approximately four billion people worldwide. In legacy the facilities will create just under 900,000 square feet of business space with the potential to generate thousands of new jobs.

Swift Horsman have been contracted to install the doorsets. window boards and skirtings on both the IBC and MPC buildings.

We are due to complete on the IBC by early January 2011and by the end of April 2011 on the MPC building.
