Large Employer of the Year

On Tuesday 2nd June 2009 Nicola Roope and Gary Saunders attended the Bright Sparks East of England Apprenticeship Awards 2009, where we had a very successful evening as Swift Horsman (Group) Ltd were awarded Large Employer of the Year.

This is a fantastic achievement of which we are all very proud.

Due to this great success we now go forward to the National Apprenticeship Awards judging panel where we hope to successfully progress to the National Apprenticeship Awards where we have the potential to win National Large Employer of the Year 2009.

We hope to be as successful in the Local Area Apprenticeship Awards which take place in conjunction with the Big Skill Awards 2009 Hertfordshire which takes place on Tuesday 16th June 2009.

The Big Skills initiative is organised by the Learning and Skills Council in Partnership with BBC East to recognise people from the region who have improved their own life, or the lives of others, through learning.

The Apprentice Awards are in their 6th year and they are hosted by the Learning Skills Council who manage and fund apprenticeships in England.
