Interbuild

On the 18th – 21st October Swift Horsman took part in Interbuild at the NEC in Birmingham. 

This year’s show welcomed 20,000 visitors from the UK and oversees, proving itself to be an essential show for key industry buyers looking to identify new products, trends and ideas. With the launch of Sustainability Street, this year proved to be an exciting showcase for a vast range of products, all demonstrating innovation and quality.

Swift Horsman took one of the largest stands on Sustainability Street where we showcased our products for four key sectors, Education, Healthcare, Commercial and Hotel / Residential.  As Swift Horsman move forward and grow, these sectors will feature heavily.  We saw Interbuild as a perfect opportunity to reinforce our position in the market and to introduce ourselves to new key players.

A team of Swift employees that included Andrea Wenzel, Kim Lord, Liz Ayres, Jo Watling and Samantha Armstrong-Moakes supported by Perry Chimes, Phil Brown, Matt Roberts, William Mainwaring and Gary Saunders spent the duration of the show speaking with visitors and generating new business leads and contacts.

The stand was designed to be inspirational and interactive, giving people a taste of what we could do for them.   From this aspect alone the show was a huge success; we were easily one of the busiest stands, with our bright yellow and black residential suite causing quite a stir....

We also had a presence in two other areas of the show; Swiftwall were present in the School Laboratory in the Building Schools for the Future area where they provided, off site manufactured partitions using Rigidur board, a demountable suspended ceiling (Treetex by CCF), a Westag door set and paint finish to all walls.

We also showcased Vertech for the first time in the Tomorrows World area of the exhibition.  Vertech is a unique and highly engineered board manufactured entirely from recycled plastic raw materials sourced from curb-side collection schemes and post industrial waste.  For further information on Vertech, please visit the Swift Invent section of this website.

Interbuild was a major project for Swift Horsman and without the dedication of all involved, from inspirational ideas, design, build and delivery, we would not have made it.
