New Contract - Heathrow, Terminal 5C

The Airports division has secured further work on the Terminal 5C Project. The new project comprises of 106no desks used by Airlines, Retail and Security Staff. There are seven different types of desks which will be designed and manufactured in house. This is a new challenge for our factory as they will be working with Staron (solid surface fire rated material) for the first time.

The design process begins in the next week or so and the first sets of desks are due on site at the beginning of August this year. We will be offering a mock up for approval prior to commencing the main package, so busy times are ahead for the project team.

The same desks are used on all other Heathrow Terminals and the successful delivery of this package should create further opportunities for other Heathrow projects (Heathrow East & Terminal 2 phase 2) and expand Swift Horsman portfolio of Airport projects
